Funnyman and former judge Michael McIntyre has revealed that he has no regrets whatsoever over quitting popular ITV talent show Britain’s Got Talent.

The Live at the Apollo comedian, who was on the judging panel for the last series, has been replaced with new judges David Walliams and Alesha Dixon, both of whom will sit alongside previous judges Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden.

However Michael wants to assure everyone that he is not sitting at home moping, as he is busy gearing up for his impending stadium tour.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the comic said: "I'm not missing doing it at all. Not one bit. I have no time for it.

"If I don't prepare for my tour I will be incredibly unfunny and then I won't win these awards. I'd die on my arse in the O2. Horror."

Simon Cowell has changed up the judging panel on Britain’s Got Talent in a bid to improve its falling ratings from last year, after coming under immense pressure from rival new BBC talent show The Voice.
