'It's true,' she says...

Emeli Sande has let slip that she's written a track for the original Sugababes.

The group will be making a comeback as a trio after all the original members either left or were ousted over the years.

Now, Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy are going to give it another go, and have been working with hot newcomer Emeli Sande.

Over the last few months, and moreover since Keisha was unceremoniously kicked out of the group - speculation has been brewing over whether the trio would hit the studio and now the 'Heaven'hitmaker says it's on the cards.

Talking to MTV, Sande said: "Yes, that is true. I’ve written for the original line-up of the Sugababes, which I’m very happy about because I just loved them when they first came out."

She also added: "I loved their sound, it was so cool. It was very different, so I’m happy to kind of be involved in what started the whole Sugababes journey. It sounds amazing."

Earlier this month, Mutya and Keisha were both tweeting about being in the studio with British rapper Professor Green on the same day.

On January 5, Keisha wrote: "Hanging out in the studio with @professorgreen and two lovely ladies with bags of talent :-p lol."

And Mutya also tweeted: "@ studio wit professor green in tha building and 2 beautiful ladies (sic)."

Will you be happy if the girls get back together or do you like the old lot?
