Nicola Mclean, who was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Wednesday night has admitted that she doesn't feel sorry for former housemate Denise Welch.

Having got into an argument with Denise earlier in the week when the Loose Women star pulled down Karissa Shannon's trousers, Nicola, told us:

“No I don't feel sorry for Denise. If you were in there you would feel different.”

Believing that alcohol was to blame for what happened the night the big row erupted, Nicola added: “Every time Big Brother provided some wine, things would change.

"But I love Denise a lot. I was just upset that she felt that because the twins or myself have done modelling, either topless – or now that I'm out – I can see the twins have done a lot more than that, but it was our choice that we had done that, not the fact that someone would pull our top up or trousers down and that was always my point. I really like Denise but my point may have got blown out of proportion as we'd all had a few wines.”

Asked whether she thought Kristina and Karissa overreacted to Denise's actions, Nicola replied that the girls reacted the way they did because they had no control over what happened.

She said: “My point was never the fact that they were reserved, my point was totally the fact that if you've been a topless model or if you've been a stripper, it's been your choice. Had one of the men pulled one of the twins pants down, they would have been evicted from the show.

“I was a page three girl by choice, not because I allowed someone to pull up my top on national TV, so all I was trying to say was, you can't say just because they've done it for a living they should be ok with that because although I've been a page three girl, I'm actually quite a shy person, and I would have been absolutely mortified if Denise had pulled my top up and I know that's probably really hard to understand for people who have never done page three but that was always my point. Don't take someone's body as your own, you have to have choice as a woman.”
