Oh Lindsay Lohan, you were doing so well! Can it REALLY be true that you drove your car into a Nanny pushing a baby in a pram?
Okay, so let's try and get this straight; Lindsay Lohan has finally got herself back on the straight and narrow. She's been praised by judges, offered the role of Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming film and been papped looking pretty damn classy on the red carpet.
They always say there's a calm before the storm, don't they?
TMZ is reporting that Nubia Del Carmen Preza is nowm suing Lindsay for driving into her way back in September 2010. That's well over a year ago. We wonder why Nubia didn't think to press charges at the time?
According to TMZ, Lohan was reportedly seen running a red light in West Hollywood, California, and hitting Nubia, who was pushing a pram across the intersection.
A witness has come forward, claiming that it was a "major hit". He has also stated that three of the four wheels on the pushchair were airborne and, although the child was crying, it thankfully remained unharmed.
So, guys, why didn't you ring the police at the time?
The witness has admitted he had no good excuse to keep the information to himself for so long:
"I didn't want to get involved."
The whole thing feels a little shady, but we'll keep an open mind for now and see how it plays out.
