We asked Big Brother’s Bit on the Side Jamie East for his predictions for the Celebrity Big Brother final, and he revealed to us that he thinks Frankie will be the surprise winner of this series!
Although the presenter wanted Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas to win, he admits that Frankie is fast becoming a fan favourite, having been the only one to stick up for Denise during her row with Playboy model Karissa.
Jamie told Entertainmentwise: “Everyone adored him for what he did! He stuck up for Denise and told Nicola a few home truths.”
He added: “There are a lot of older, wiser, more mature people in that house that should have done the same.”
When Frankie entered the house, few people thought he would make it to the final week, let alone being crowned the 2012 CBB champion, especially after his spectacular fall from grace, when he was booted out from X Factor for cocaine use.
However Jamie explains how public opinion of the 19-year-old has completely changed:
“[Frankie] played a blinder! He came from out of nowhere - being the one that everyone despised, the one that everyone was laughing about, and who everyone thought didn’t deserve to be there, to all of a sudden after ten minutes becoming the hot favourite!”
