David Walliams doesn't think that they will be replacing Amanda Holden on the Britain's Got Talent panel after she gave birth to a baby girl earlier this week.

The judge, who will be making his debut on the panel, talked at the National TV Awards, where he said when asked if replacing the long-time judge: "No, I don't think so because we did a day in Blackpool and because it was such short notice - it was just the three of us."

He then quipped: "Louis Walsh is alsways on standyby..."

Meanwhile Dec, one half of the BGT hosting duo, has revealed that the judges have "chemistry" also "feisty" Alesha could be too much for Simon to handle.

He said: "Britain's Got Talent panel is working a treat, the chemistry is there. Alesha is feisty, and Simon is back. He's really upped the stakes this year."
