Demi Moore's recent health scare has caused her to drop out of her latest film role.
On Tuesday, the dark-haired actress was taken to hospital for "exhaustion" which, for many fans, was hardly a big surprise; Demi has not been herself since her split from Ashton Kutcher.
She's been spotted looking thin, gaunt and unhappy on red carpets and, thanks to Ashton's infidelity allegations, has had her personal life scrutinised from every angle. And, despite announcements that the six year marriage was over, divorce papers have yet to be filed. It's clear that Demi is still very much heartbroken.
Reports have now emerged that Demi is being treated for anorexia, among other "substance abuse issues". A source came forward about the emergency 911 call and confirmed that Demi was being treated for an eating disorder:
"She collapsed after having an epileptic seizure. Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure."
It's no shock that, since being admitted to hospital, Demi has been forced to drop out of her role as feminist icon Gloria Steinem in the 'Lovelace' biopic.
Fingers crossed she makes a full and fast recovery.
