Adele's 21 is on course to top the UK albums chart for the 21st time.

The hugely successful one-year-old album is a slim 300 copies ahead of Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto in this week's midweek chart update, as announced by The Official Charts Company.

Over on the singles countdown, Cover Drive's 'Twilight' is a comfortable 15,000 sales ahead of Jessie J's 'Domino', which is almost certain to lose its No. 1 ranking this Sunday.

Kelly Clarkson's 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' is on track to break the Top 10, as it moves up to No. 8 in today's figures. If it can hold on until the weekend, its parent album Stronger will become Kelly's second record to yield more than one UK Top 10 single.

New entries apart from Cover Drive come from Flo Rida featuring Sia's 'Wild Ones' at No. 5, Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' at No. 10, Redlight at No. 16 and Professor Green at No. 34.

The Official Charts will be announced by Reggie Yates on Radio 1 this Sunday.
