Mark Wright may have said farewell to The Only Way Is Essex but that doesn’t mean he is done forever as the hunk has admitted that he can’t wait to watch the show.
The 25 year-old, who has recently started presenting Take Me Out: The Gossip on ITV2 is excited to watch the new series of TOWIE, though he might find it a bit strange at first.
He told Entertainmentwise: “I am really looking forward to it, it might be weird for me but I’m excited.”
“The pressure is off now, I’m not in the show, I can be like one of the fans now and I think I will be.” He added.
The new season of The Only Way Is Essex kicks of this weekend and will be minus a few old faces. Fans were shocked when Harry Derbridge and Maria Fowler were axed earlier this month and with original cast-member Kirk Norcross also not returning, there will be a host of new characters for viewers to get to know.
Mark made his own emotional exit at the end of the third season in November but despite the popularity of the original cast he doesn’t think the shake-up will damage the show’s success.
He said: “I don’t think it affects it in anyway, it’s such amazing show, amazing producers, amazing characters that are left. I think it will be incredible.”
Mark was speaking at the UK premiere of 'The Woman In Black' starring Daniel Radcliffe and though he likes to act the tough guy he admitted that he was a little worried about watching the thriller.
The Essex hunk said: "I am very excited, very scared. Scary movies are an adrenaline rush, but I am a proper scaredy cat really.”
The TV presenter took along his co-host Zoe Hardman to the premiere who looked stunning in a black sheer dress. The move will certainly annoy his on-off girlfriend Lauren Goodger who recently admitted that her love for Mark was not healthy.
