Apparently not every Desperate Housewives character will say goodbye in May's final episode - someone's getting a premature exit in March.
Entertainment Weekly claims to know that a "major" face from the Wisteria Lane gang will be killed off very soon, but producers have remained tight-lipped on who it is.
The death will reportedly been screened in March in the US, and the scenes are currently being filmed in Burbank, California.
Creator Marc Cherry had previously teased that not every subplot will reach a conclsin in time for the final episode. His executive producer Bob Daily said: "We don’t want to tie up every loose end. We want it to look like life goes on, on Wisteria Lane."
It is thought that one of the wives' husbands will be the writers' poor victim.
Felicity Huffman, who plays Lynette, has spoken of her sadness at leaving the show behind.
