Brody Jenner has denied reports that he has split from girlfriend Avril Lavigne. The reality TV star has taken to his twitter to blast the rumours.
The couple have been dating for around two years and had seemed the picture of happiness before reports emerged this week that they had split. The Hills star, who previously dated Lauren Conrad and Nicole Ritchie tweeted that he loved the ‘complicated’ singer and that they are definitely together.
The 28 year-old tweeted: “It really upsets me to read all the FALSE!! stories.Avril has always been there for me and is the closest person to my heart. I love her.”
Canadian singer Avril then supported her boyfriend with another tweet: “luv u 2!!! @BrodyJenner.”
Avril has been getting close to Brody's family over the past year. She went with her boyfriend to his step-sister Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kris Humphries last August and half-sister Kylie Jenner modelled at New York Fashion week for the singer’s clothing line.
Life & Style reported earlier this week that the couple had split because Brody was ready to settle down and Avril wasn't.
A source told the magazine: “ It wasn't working out and they wanted to go their separate ways.”
