Cheryl Cole is close to an official reunion with her cheating ex-husband Ashley if the footballer can prove he is trustworthy.
The ‘fight for this love’ singer has reportedly told the Chelsea star he cannot bed any women for six months if he wants a chance at winning her back.
A source told Closer: "She's told Ashley he must survive six months, until her birthday on June 30, without dating or bedding other girls if she's ever to trust him again."
The couple split in February 2010 after it emerged that Ashley had continuously cheated on the Girls Aloud star throughout their four year marriage. Despite her attempts to move on, the singer has let the love-rat back into her life.
Cheryl first turned to her ex-husband last April after she was humiliatingly sacked from X Factor USA. The star even invited Ashley to her 28th birthday party where they were seen getting close.
This reunion ended though, when stories emerged of women who had slept with Ashley while he was trying to win the singer back. But it seems they did not stay apart for long and have been getting closer again over the last few months.
“She saw him just before Christmas and they're making plans for a weekend break together in February.” A source revealed.
"They're talking or texting every day. She usually texts him first thing in the morning and they'll normally call each other during the day.”
One person who is against the reunion is Cheryl's protective mother Joan. Last week a source revealed she warned the star she needed to forget her cheating ex.
