Beyonce's spokesperson has slammed the recent interview that was pegged as the singer's first post-baby interview as being a fake and insisted that the story published by the UK's Star magazine was "totally made up".
The mag claimed to have an exclusive interview with the new mum, following the birth of Blue Ivy on January 7, and it quotes the singer defending the extra-tight security at Lenox Hill hospital, her husband Jay-Z and becoming a mother.
Beyonce allegedly said: "Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can’t be found."
The magazine also claimed that Jay-Z had been there for the whole time throughout Beyonce's labour, and she supposedly gushed with pride of her husband.
"He is a very protective husband, and since we found out I was pregnant I have seen the protective father in him," she was quoted as saying.
"He is not only an inspirational artist, he is an inspirational husband. I know the next step on his journey is going to be being an inspirational father."
But a representative for the singer has insisted that Beyonce has not given any interviews since the arrival of Blue Ivy and they told Access Hollywood that Star magazine's story was "completely made up".
Then when further pressed about the legitimacy of the story, the rep added: "Absolutely not." Even with Beyonce's people slamming the supposed "exclusive", Star magazine's editor insisted that the interview had not been made up.
"It is not made up or fictitious at all," said the acting editor Anna Pointer. "We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyoncé before the birth. The reporter then obtained the 'top-up' info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team."
