Lindsay Lohan is back in a Los Angeles court today as part of her probation requirements. The actress, who was seen out at Golden Globes parties this weekend must report to court for an update of her progress.
Judge Sautner imposed tough new rules in November after the actress repeatedly violated the terms of her probation. According to The Press Association, the star has been sticking to her community service at a Los Angeles county morgue and attending psychotherapy sessions.
Lindsay’s spokesman Steve Honig said the community service is the 25 year-old’s “primary focus.”
The ‘Mean Girls’ star will be keen to avoid any further problems with the probation as she is trying to secure the role of Elizabeth Taylor in a new Lifetime movie about the star’s tempestuous relationship with Richard Burton.
According to E! News the movie’s executive producer Larry Thompson is concerned about the actresses community service commitments as filming is due to start in Canada this Spring.
He said: "It’s a complication. I've been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps.”
He admitted that Lindsay isn’t the only actress in talks to star in ‘Liz & Dick’ with Megan Fox another front runner. The producer is keen on Lindsay but wants to make sure whoever he casts in the role is the right choice.
Thompson said: "It's a very serious selection. It's like casting for Hollywood royalty.”
Kate Winslet, who is also rumoured to be in talks to star in a big screen biopic of the late Elizabeth Taylor's life refused to comment over Lindsay's casting as the legendary star following her Golden Globes win last weekend.
