Madonna may have only just finished her new film W.E but the singer has revealed she is keen to make another royal film, this time about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s romance.
The superstar wrote and directed 'W.E' charting the forbidden relationship between King Edward VIII and American divorcee Wallis Simpson and although it has been panned by critics is already eyeing her next royal project.
According to The Sunday Mirror the ‘Material Girl’ is fascinated by the newest royal couple and admires the young Duchess’ style.
The 53 year-old said: “I like Kate Middleton and think she's quite chic and intelligent. I hope she's a fan of mine, too.”
But the singer admitted she may have to wait a while before she embarks on the project. She said: “I think maybe it is too soon to make a film about William and Kate but I definitely would if I could wait a decade first.”
Despite being criticised for the film, Madonna excitedly picked up a Golden Globe for a track she penned for the 'W.E.' called ‘Masterpiece’ much to the annoyance of fellow nominee Elton John. His partner David Furnish took to twitter to air his anger over her win.
