Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan has taken to Twitter to set the record straight about the status of her relationship with The Wanted's Max George.
With reports suggesting that their wedding had been called off due to the couple's fights and Michelle wanting "space", the actress, who plays Tina McIntyre in the ITV1 soap posted on her Twitter page:
"Right I'm puttin the story straight cause I've just read another false story...Me and Max ARE still together, there's been no 'bust-ups'...or 'jealous rows' I haven't 'CALLED OFF' the wedding, because we never set a date in the 1st place! Me and Max are happy...(sic)
"...This weekend has just PROVED once again that u can't believe everything u read in the press. Aaaaand breathe, :) (sic)"
Having taken a bit of a breather, the star tweeted again minutes later, saying: "And what makes me laugh is that if we show any affection in public, people say 'we're doing it for the cameras' but if we're ..pictured without a cheesy grin plastered in our faces 'our relationship is on the rocks' Can't win!!! Rant over!! :))"
