George Clooney has joked that his wardobe for new film 'The Descendants' dented his sense of manliness.
His character in the awards season favourite tries to rebuild his relationship with his children after his wife suffers a boating accident. But, rather than the tricky emotional performance, he said it was the wardrobe of Hawaiian print tops that proved particularly tricky.
"Yeah, that was almost ending all masculinity," he told Celebuzz. "The minute you pull the khakis up about there, and the Hawaiian shirt tucked in to down there..."
The star has already picked up a gong for his performance, with the Critics' Choice Awards giving him Best Actor.
He is the current bookmakers' favourite to take Best Actor at the Academy Awards, too.
The film is out in the UK on January 27.
