Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and the Foo Fighters have all been announced as performers at next month’s Grammy Awards.
The ceremony, taking place on February 12th in Los Angeles, will see first time nominee Nicki Minaj make her debut on the Grammys' stage. She will battle it out in four categories including Best New Artist where she will be up against folk band Bon Iver, Skrillex, J.Cole and the Band Perry.
Rock veterans Foo Fighters will also perform on the night and will hope to go home with at least one of their six nominations. ‘Grenade’ singer Bruno Mars and Jason Aldean will also be taking to the stage.
There has been no word though if Kanye West, who leads the nominations with seven nods will be taking to the stage. Adele was also rumoured to be making an appearance but has not been confirmed. The singer, who is up for six awards during the evening is still recovering from the throat surgery that forced her to cancel her US tour at the end of 2011.
More performers will be announced closer to the time so we may see Adele and Kanye on the line-up before long.
