Poor Jake Gyllenhaal. He maybe one of the hottest men in Hollywood and count Reese Witherspoon and Kirsten Dunst among his ex’s, but that wasn’t enough for Minka Kelly who turned down the actor when he tried to romance the her.
According to US Weekly, the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ actress declined an invitation from the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ actor when she was approached for a date last year.
The actress has since got back with her long-tern boyfriend, sport star Derek Jeter and a source told the magazine it was because of her ex that she turned down the 31 year-old hottie. Maybe Minka just isn't a fan of the beard that Jake has been sporting recently and prefers her men clean-cut.
Jake has been unlucky in love since he split with Reese in 2009. The actress then went on to marry Hollywood agent Jim Toth last year.
Jake had a very public romance early in 2011 with pop star Taylor Swift despite a ten year age gap. But this union soon fizzled out only after a few months.
Jake was recently named as a presenter at this year's Golden Globes alongside Mila Kunis and Salma Hayek.
