Dolly Parton has expressed her excitement at the possibility of a duet with Lady GaGa.
The singer and actress, whose new movie 'Joyful Noise' is released in the US this weekend, told reporters at the premiere that she would love to duet with the 'Born This Way' star.
"We'd be fun together, don't you think?" she told E! Online.
"I think people would love that. But you know, you just wait. Those kind of things happen when they're supposed to."
The '9 to 5' artist sings in the new film, which also stars Queen Latifah. The pair play warring rivals who are forced to co-operate when budget cuts threaten to shut down their small-town choir.
The film does not currently have a confirmed UK release date.
Parton recently claimed "we've all been too hard" on Miley Cyrus.
