Lindsay Lohan is starting the New Year with yet more personal troubles - she's allegedly been hit with a lawsuit from an injured paparazzo AND she's being pursued for tax she failed to cough up in 2009.
TMZ claims to have obtained a legal claim against the troubled actress from a photographer who says a car driven by Lohan's assistant hit him while he was trying to photograph her leaving a nightclub two years ago.
Grigor Balyan's lawer, Neil Steiner, says he was given an "insignificant offer" when he tried to settle the case with the 'Mean Girls' star's insurance company, and he now tells the US gossip site he is after "reasonable compensation" for his client. Balyan apparently suffered "orthopaedic and neurologic injuries".
Lohan is also reportedly being chased for federal income tax that she failed to pay three years ago. The Daily Star reports that the IRS have obtained a lien against her in an effort to collect the £58,560 she owes.
Yesterday Lindsay made a rare appearance in the news for reasons other than her personal woes - she is reportedly in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor in a new TV movie.
