Lindsay Lohan To Play Elizabeth Taylor?

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in talks to play screen idol Elizabeth Taylor in a new TV movie about her life.

Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story is currently in development as a Lifetime original movie, focussing on Taylor's relationship with Richard Burton.

The project was unveiled last year as part of the US network's 2011-12 development state, and will be produced by Larry Thompson.

Taylor was married to seven different men in her life, but considered Burton the true love of her life. They married twice, divorcing for the second time in 1976.

She died in March 2011 of congestive heart failure, aged 79.

Lohan recently broke Playboy sales records with her own cover shoot, and will win her first film role since 2010 if she lands the part of Elizabeth.
