Beyonce and Jay-Z have named their daughter Blue Ivy Carter and good friend Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed it.
The Hollywood actress tweeted her good wishes on to the little tot, who was born on Saturday night in New York, earlier today.
"Welcome to the world Blue!" the actress wrote. "We love you already."
Later she answered a fan, as she wrote: "RT @Sparrow_Teague @GwynethPaltrow is it ivy blue, or blue ivy? so confused..It's Blue Ivy Carter!"
Solange Knowles, Beyonce's sister also tweeted about the baby and claims that she's already taking after her mother.
Tweeting after meeting little Blue Ivy, she wrote: "The most beautiful girl in the world."
Other stars to have tweeted about the new arrival include Rihanna and Russell Simmons.
It had previously been reported that Beyonce and Jay-Z had named their baby Ivy Blue Carter.
