The Duchess of Cambridge will make her Leicester Square debut tonight for her first movie premiere alongside Prince William. The brunette, who turns 30 on Monday will be there to support the Steven Spielberg movie 'War Horse'.
The premiere is in aid of the 'Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry' and aswell as Royals and 600 serving military personnel from across the forces have been invited to attend.
Director Steven Spielberg told The Mirror: “ We are honoured to dedicate this event in aid of the Foundation which recognises the welfare of those who serve their country in the British Armed Forces.”
He added: "The movie, which I am proud to say was filmed here in Great Britain, deals with the discovery of humanity against conflict, and celebrates bravery, loyalty, tenacity and hope."
There is one star who may even outshine the Duchess of Cambridge, as the film’s star thoroughbred horse, Joey is expected to make an appearance on the red carpet.
All eyes as ever will be on Kate and fashion followers are eager to see the choice she makes for her first blockbuster premiere.
It is yet another milestone in the future queen’s incredible year and though she has lots to celebrate she has vowed to keep her birthday celebrations low key.
