Demi Lovato has opened up about her strong friendships with former Disney co-stars Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez - but admits she has had "brutal" fall-outs with Cyrus.
The 19-year-old singer, who will release 'Give Your Heart A Break' as the follow-up to her critically acclaimed single 'Skyscraper', told Seventeen magazine that the girls have been through a lot together.
She said: "Miley Cyrus and I are strong headed. When we fight it's brutal and we're like, 'We're never going to be friends again!' Then two days later, we're like, 'I love you and I miss you!'
"Selena and I, we never fight. She's not a confrontational person at all."
She added: "Both of them will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we've been through so much together."
The pair hit headlines in 2009 when Cyrus posted a photo of herself and Lovato with the message "Now this is what true friendship looks like. None of that hollywood c***. @ddlovato I miss you :)", only for her reluctant pal to reply with "Yeah... It's just kind of hard to miss somebody that I don't know anymore."
Demi has been praised in the media by Kelly Clarkson, who has revealed plans to duet with the Camp Rock star.
