Sugababes star Heidi Range has insisted that her stint on Dancing On Ice does not spell the end for the Sugababes - but has confessed that they currently have nothing planned.
The troubled trio released their lowest-selling album to date, Sweet 7, in 2010, and failed to make a successful return to form in 2011 when their comeback single 'Freedom' was scrapped at the last minute due to lack of interest, and given away for free instead.
Speaking at a press conference for the ITV reality show, Heidi said: "We haven't got any plans at the moment, but we haven't split up as a band.
"We're just kind of doing our own little thing at the moment, so we'll see in the future."
Speculation has mounted in recent months that the group have been dropped by their new record label, just months after being axed from their original deal with Island.
Bruno Mars' rumoured squeeze Amelle Berrabah is allegedly working on solo material, and it is not known whether former Eurovision representative Jade Ewen has resumed work on the album she was planning when recruited as Keisha Buchanan's replacement in 2009.
Dancing On Ice begins on Sunday on ITV1.
