Miley Cyrus and Shakira are reportedly planning to join forces for a duet, in aid of children with severe heart diseases.

Miley herself has a mild heart condition that causes tachycardia, and Shakira founded children's charity Pies Descalzos Foundation in 1995.

Ace Showbiz reports that the pair's track is called 'Love & Rock', and will be released on Valentine's Day, February 14.

They will apparently perform the track at a charity gala on the same day before launching an official music video.

Miley recently had to take to Twitter to respond to a so-called fan who branded her an "a**hole".

Shakira, meanwhile, recently debuted her new short blonde hairdo, which allegedly took six hours to complete.
