While the One Direction lads are giving up cigarettes and trying to squeeze in a few more workouts, Robbie Williams is setting his sights a bit higher for his New Year's resolutions.
The Take That singer is hoping that his ninth studio album will be his best album that he's recorded yet, and is even in the process of planning an epic tour.
Talking to The Mirror, Robbie said: "It's very important for me to feel like I am competing, more so than ever. I haven't wanted to go out there and be the best in the world since 2005.
"I am looking forward to going out on tour, doing promo and kicking arse. Someone has to be the best in the world right now and I want to aim for that, and if I don't make it I want to be somewhere near it. This year will be the best year of my life."
But it's not only musical aspirations that Robbie has in mind, he also wants to be a better hubby to his wife of 16 months Ayda Field.
"I want to be a better husband. I want to be a better guy and I want to be as happy as I can be," he said. "I also wanna get really fit next year... [and] look the best popstar I can look at that time."
Meanwhile according to reports Ayda is hoping for a baby next year - perhaps that's what he means by being a "better husband"?
Take That's Year With Robbie...
