George Micheal will be home to celebrate Christmas as it has been reported that the star has been released from hospital in Vienna.
The 'Careless Whisper' singer was hospitalised last month after being struck down with "severe" pneumonia. Austria's state broadcaster has reported that the 48-year-old has been released this morning (December 22) from the AKH hospital and is set to catch a flight back to London today.
According to the Press Association, a hospital worked has said that she was unable to comment because of confidentiality laws.
It was reported this weekend that George was expected to be home in time for Christmas, although a doctor cast doubt on this earlier this week suggesting that it depended on the speed of the singer's recovery.
George Michael's boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has not commented on his Twitter about the recent developments.
