Coronation Street's Sacha Parkinson broke down in tears during a live TV interview after seeing a montage of her on-screen romance with on and off-screen best friend Brooke Vincent.
Appearing on This Morning to talk about her exit storyline, Sacha who plays Sian Powers in the popular soap, was overcome by emotion when she saw the montage which showed her time on the soap.
Covering for Sacha, who exclaimed that she was "so embarrassed", the Mail Online reports Brooke, who plays Sophie Webster, saying: "It's mad just looking at it. We've spent so much time together and preparing for it. We've been saying for ages that it's the beginning of the end but this is the end, that's it now."
Speaking about their close bond, Brooke, whose character Sophie is engaged to Sian, added: "We're more like sisters, we've done a lot together and we've known each other since we were about six."
Revealing her plans after Coronation Street, Sacha said: "It's really exciting just going back to auditioning. It's just something I have to do. I was so comfortable there that I could have stayed there for the next 50 years but I just want to do something interesting, something to get my teeth into."
