Christina Aguilera is reportedly planning a pop comeback with the man responsible for Britney Spears and Pink's biggest hits.
The 'Genie In A Bottle' singer's last studio album Bionic became the lowest-selling No. 1 album in UK history in 2010, and the lowest-selling album of her career to date worldwide.
After raising her profile as a judge on the US version of The Voice and collaborating with Maroon 5 on 'Moves Like Jagger', the vocallist is now thought to be in the studio with Max Martin.
The music director of leading US radio station KIIS FM, Julie Pilat, told her followers on Twitter that the song is "amazing", adding: "Plans can change so I will let their camp reveal all details. The song I heard has been stuck in my head ever since. Can't wait."
The star has been embroiled in a long-running feud with Kelly Osbourne over each-other's weight.
She is expected to release her new material early in the New Year.V
