Items from the house in which Michael Jackson died were sold at auction this weekend and fetched an impressive $1.6 million.
Over 540 items were sold from the 'You Are Not Alone' star's rented home this weekend including a mirror on which Jackson wrote a note to himself, and that sold for $18,750.
An armoire that featured pencil-written note from Jackson reading, "Train, perfection March April Full out May", which is thought to refer to his intense training schedule ahead of his 50-date residency at London's 02 Arena.
Jackson's 11-year-old daughter Paris wrote a note on a chalkboard which read "love Daddy/ I (heart) Daddy/ Smile it's for free", sold for $5,000.
While the headboard from Michael Jackson's deathbed was taken down from the sale after a request from the singer's family, the oriental rug on which his body lay as emergency services tried to revive him in June 2009 sold for $15,360.
Julien's Auction House have said that the total of sales from the auction this weekend were over $1.6 million.
