Conrad Murray's Prison Treatment Is 'Crazy And Unbelievable'

Conrad Murray's lawyer has claimed that the treatment towards Michael Jackson's former doctor is "crazy and unbelievable".

Attorney J Michael Flanagan was part of Murray's defence team during his involuntary manslaughter trial that ended in the physician being found guilty in the death of the 'Thriller' singer.

Flanagan was shocked by the behaviour that he witnessed at the Los Angeles County Jail, and insists that it was rare to see an inmate being treated in such a way for involuntary manslaughter.

In an interview with E!, Flanagan said: "It is crazy and unbelievable how [the sheriffs] are treating [Murray]. I've never seen something like this before [for involuntary manslaughter]."

Murray was sentenced to four years imprisonment on November 29, and Flanagan revealed that he was brought to the visiting area with his hands and feet shackled and he was also handcuffed to the table as they talked.

Flanagan was also shocked to learn that Murray's prison cell neighbours a man who has been convicted of a gang murder.
