For the last few years Chantelle Houghton has worried about not being able to fall pregnant naturally and now she is expecting her first child with fiance Alex Reid.
The former Celebrity Big Brother champion is three-and-a-half months pregnant and the mother-to-be has insisted that she doesn't care if she puts on a lot of weight.
After years of battling with an eating disorder, the 28-year-old has claimed that her weight is not important as long as their baby is healthy.
In an interview with New! magazine, Chantelle showed off her growing baby bump and she said: "I don’t care how fat I get. I’ll get as fat as a house as long as everything’s OK."
While she's happy to pile on the pounds for her baby's health now, Chantelle is hopefully of losing her pregnancy weight gradually and with the help of fitness fanatic Alex Reid.
"I’m not worrying about losing the weight afterwards," she explained. "I’ll just do it gradually. I’m in no rush to snap back into shape. I’m not putting any pressure on myself. And Alex will help me."
Chantelle and Alex were going to try in-vitro fertilisation before finding out that she had conceived naturally, and talking about the chances, she said: "What’s the saying? Where there’s a sperm, there’s a way. I only release an egg three times a year, so the chances of me actually getting pregnant naturally were one per cent – slim to none."
She also added: "I think maybe it happened because we weren’t just having sex to get pregnant any more."
