In the year that has seen Scarlett Johansson divorce Ryan Reynolds, the actress admits that this year has been "challenging".
The 'We Bought A Zoo' actress has claimed that the past 12 months have brought many ups and downs but she appreciates the beauty that has come with it.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 27-year-old actress said: "I've had ups and downs. Certainly, this past year has [had] a lot of unexpected things in many beautiful ways, many challenging ways."
But Scarlett has insisted that work is her passion and cushion so tries not to let her troubles effect it.
"You just have to kind of embrace it. For me, the most important thing is that it doesn't affect my work and it doesn't affect my private life as much as possible," she explained. "If I could keep that bubble around myself during my work, that is really what's most important for me."
Also this year Scarlett's nude photos leaked online sparking a internet craze, like planking and owling, imaginatively called 'Scarlett Johanssoning'.
