An extra has died while filming 'Batman: The Dark Knight Rises' Warner Brothers have confirmed.
The death took place in November this year while rehearsing with several hundred extras in New York. The unidentified man had a heart-attack whilst on a break.
A Warner Brothers representative told The New York Post: " The production crew fully cooperated with the authorities' investigation, which established that he died of natural causes."
The film, starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway is the next much anticipated installment of the highly-successful franchise.
The series was already somewhat tainted with sadness since the death of Heath Ledger in 2008, who died shortly after portraying the Joker in 'The Dark Knight'.
Despite the success of the films star Christian Bale says it will be the last in the saga.
