Jennifer Saunders might not get another booking at a Stella McCartney party for a while as Kate Moss stormed out following a joke at her expense.
The fashion designer hosted a Christmas party at her Mayfair store last night, where they switched the Christmas lights on, and Jennifer Saunders was hosting the showbiz event in the character as Eddy from TV's Absolutely Fabulous when she poked fun at the supermodel's age.
While on the mic, infront of the celeb-packed party, she mocked Kate and how she's an old-timer. "Eddy" said: "Kate, just cut your t*** off and stick your head down the loo."
According to The Sun, everyone in the room spun around to see Kate's reaction which was far from impressed. Saunders continued: "Kate Moss is an old model."
The clanger resulted in Kate prompting marching out, and it wasn't that she can't take a joke, but that she felt publicly singled-out.
"Kate wasn't impressed. She looked like someone had really peed on her bonfire as she left," a source said. "She's well up for a laugh but she didn't like being singled out. Although it wasn't pleasant, she'll get over it."
We would have liked to have seen that.
