The dress that was worn by the late Amy Winehouse for the front cover of her sophomore album Back To Black sold for £43,200 as part of the Passion for Fashion auction.
According to Amy's father Mitch, the dress was sold to a fashion museum in Santiago, Chile and the proceeds from the sale will go to the Amy Winehouse foundation, which was set up following the singer's sudden death by her family.

Mitch said: “We want to give money to projects that make a direct difference. It is a source of great comfort to know that Amy would be proud of this and right behind it."
ITN also reported he said: "Obviously we want to try and raise money for the family and the grandchildren so that they will be able to be helped by Amy too in the years to come so that was very important. We all need to survive."
Amy's iconic dress was designed by Thai designer Disaya, who was asked in 2006 to lent the singer a frock for the album cover shoot.
At the time Amy was still virtually unknown, despite it being her second album, and according to reports, other designers had not been receptive towards her stylist.
Back to Black has since sold over 3.2 million copies and is still sitting at no. 72 in the UK's top 100 album chart.
