After cancelling his European tour after being struck down with pneumonia in Austria, George Michael is also facing further upset as a doctor has claimed that his treatment could damage his voice.
The 'Jesus To A Child' singer, who has been seriously ill in hospital, is now on a ventilator is pushing air in and out of his lungs and a doctor has said that it really depends how long he needs to receive the treatment.
Dr. Gerrit Wohlt told The Sun: "It depends how long he spends on the ventilator, but in the worst case his illness could seriously affect his singing capacity."
He also added: "The pressure is very close to his vocal cords and it could affect them."
Michael has been diagnosed with a lung condition ARDS, which prevents oxygen getting into the blood. He is reportedly receiving treatment on a bed worth £100k which a doctor earlier this week said had saved the singer's life.
Get well soon George!
