Charlize Theron took the red carpet for the 21st annual Gotham Independent Film Awards last night, turning heads with a serious plunging neckline - but it nearly went all wrong as the actress nearly ended up flat on her face as she tripped on a light.
The 'Snow White and the Huntsman' actress wore the white top with a black skirt and thick gold belt and strappy heels.
As she sashayed around the reception area at Cipriani Wall Street, she stumbled over a low light that was placed by a pillar, but the blonde star laughed off the incident.
Charlize recently revealed that she was excited to have a 'showdown' with Kristen Stewart in their new movie.
