Leona Lewis has confirmed that she will release an EP of new music before the end of the year, and will also appear on The X Factor final.
The show's third winner said she would perform on the show earlier in the year, but her appearance was thrown into doubt when her new album Glassheart was pushed back to March 2012. It was originally intended to be released today (November 28).
Speaking to Digital Spy at the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary Christmas Fete, she revealed: "I'm going to be on X Factor UK and US. I should be doing the final.
"I'm really glad to be back because one of the guys I'm working with on the album is here. I'm going to be working with Fraser [T Smith] for a little while. I've just done the EP, so that's all recorded and will be out this year."
Speaking about her charity work for the sanctuary, she said: "The next event is in December, which is the Christmas Carol concert.
"We've got some other people singing, which I'm really excited about. There's someone else special who I really hope can make it... but we'll see!"
She has helped the organisation to raise nearly £100,000 in time for Christmas, with events including a party in LA.
