Staff at Madame Tussauds have had to tighten the security around their ginger-haired waxwork of X Factor judge and Take That singer-songwriter Gary Barlow.
The model has been constantly kissed, groped and fondled by fans who have proven such a worry to staff it has been moved to a special VIP area and guarded by bouncers.
It also had to be taken away for cleaning after countless female fans covered the face in lipstick and one admirer left a pair of knickers saying 'I love Gary' in the jacket pocket.
Apparently most of his visitors are mothers of young girls more interested in seeing Justin Bieber, according to spokeswoman Liz Edwards.
The Daily Mail quotes her as saying: "Since the X Factor girls have just been going crazy at seeing Gary.
"With the X Factor final coming up he seems to be surging in popularity, especially in the last couple of weeks. So we thought it was time to bring him in bouncers."
She added: "We don't want to stop people getting up close and personal with their hero, but we hope by putting him in his own VIP area we'll be able to manage the attention more effectively - and his minders will remind fans to be polite when they get too demonstrative."
Not sure about the waxwork, but the real Gary is a happily married man, ladies! Still, we hear he can help a girl out...
