George Clooney has revealed that he turned down an invitation from ex-Italian premiere Silvio Berlusconi to attend one of his notorious 'bunga bunga' sex parties.
The invitation was handed out after Clooney visited the disgraced politician's home seeking aid for Darfur.
The 50-year-old told The Mirror: "I went to speak about Darfur. ... It was a very interesting conversation to say the least, that became a very different kind of event than anyone ever thought.
"I wasn't at the bunga bunga party."
When asked if he wanted to stay, the actor replied: "No, I gotta go."
Berlusconi is under investigation amid allegations that he paid for sex with an underage prostitute.
Clooney has said that he is willing to give evidence in Berlusconi's favour.
George recently admitted that his current girlfriend, wrestler Stacy Kiebler, could "probably kick my ass" in a fight.
