Noel Gallagher is to record the theme song for the next James Bond movie 'Skyfall', it has been reported.
The ex-Oasis guitarist will meet with producer Michael G Wilson to discuss using an existing song, 'Freaky Teeth', on the upcoming film, according to The Sun.
A source said: "They're going to talk about potentially writing and performing the song for next year's new Bond film. Nothing is signed or official, it's just being discussed at the moment."
'Freaky Teeth' has never been released, but has been performed by Gallagher at gigs in the past.
Back in 2008, he had said in an interview that the song would make for a "f**king great Bond theme."
Adele however remains the favourite to sing the theme song, although both reportedly face competition from Michael Buble.
'Skyfall' is scheduled for release on October 26, 2012.
