As it has been revealed that Justin Bieber's paternity battle with Mariah Yeater is still on-going, David Beckham has said that the teen will be an "amazing" father.
The football icon, who has four children with Victoria - Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, six-year-old Cruz, and four-month-old daughter Harper, says that when Bieber met Harper while the family were at a studio session he fell in love with her.
While talking to Ryan Seacrest, David said: "Justin's so great with kids! We walked into the studio, and we had Harper with us. Justin literally picked up Harper, and wouldn't put her down the whole time we were there.
"Obviously, he's got a younger brother and sister so he's really amazing with the kids."
Despite reports that Ms Yeater had dropped her case against Bieber, after claiming that he was the father of her four-month-old son, it has now been revealed that she hopes to settle the matter confidentially because of the death threats she had been receiving.
In an interview with Chicago's WGN-TV, Jeffery M. Leving said: "This matter is not over. Negotiations are going on right now with Bieber's counsel. There's a new legal team [in place]."
He also added: "[Mariah] believes Justin Bieber is the father. We're trying to secure a private DNA test, because this case is out of control."
It's likely that we'll never hear the outcome of the matter, as Leving is hoping to keep it private and Bieber is set to go ahead with the paternity test.
"I don't want something terrible to happen to my client or her child," he explained. "My goal, when a DNA test is completed, is to keep everything confidential, which will be difficult if not impossible. I'm very concerned about this."
