Gary Barlow has pledged that Take That can tour "for the rest of their lives".
The singer, songwriter and X Factor judge insisted that the group will continue with or without Robbie Williams, and plan to record their next album as a four-piece.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "We will always be around. Having Rob back or not, I think we can do it for the rest of our lives now.
"For now Progress is done, but I think we will come back to it with Rob whenever we feel like it. Rob wants to do a solo record next year. So it will be the four of us."
He added: "I have no idea what direction it will go in. We will only know that when the four of us go back in the studio. At the moment I have no time to write new songs because of all my other jobs."
The group release a live DVD of their Progress tour on November 21, with a live album to follow a week later on November 28.
It will go up against THREE of Gary's X Factor co-stars in the charts. Olly Murs and Kelly Rowland will both release their new albums on the same day, with Tulisa's N-Dubz planning a Greatest Hits release at the same time. Who will win?
