Jodie Marsh has put herself firmly back on the fame map, but she has said that her life hasn't always been fun and games as there have been times when she has been suicidal but now, thanks to bodybuilding she feels better about herself.
The 32-year-old, who recently took home a trophy at a bodybuilding championship competition in Sheffield, has admitted that she doesn't take insults to heart any more.
In an interview with Now magazine, Jodie said: "At times I've wanted to kill myself because I've been so miserable."
The Essex girl, is now a professional bodybuilder after having transformed her body in just eight weeks, shifting 20lb of fat to 8lb of solid muscle but she's a teensy size six.
About her new body, Jodie said: "I know I look good. If I read negative comments now I just laugh. I love myself, I've found self-respect."
Jodie recently attended the David Gest's premiere for his new Michael Jackson film.
