Daniel Radcliffe Admits: 'I Was Allergic To Harry Potter's Glasses'

Daniel Radcliffe has said that he came out in an allergic reaction the first time he put on Harry Potter's iconic glasses.

The 21-year-old revealed to author JK Rowling in a special video for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' that his glasses caused him problems when he first had to wear them.

He said: "We put the glasses on and eventually we realised I was allergic to them.

"I was allergic to the Harry Potter glasses because these two rings of whiteheads and spots had come up around my eyes. It took us about a week to realise that it was actually the glasses."

Rowling replied: "It's lucky neither of us believe in signs, isn't it?!"

Rowling has recently admitted that she considered killing off Ron Weasley whilst writing the Potter novels out of "sheer spite."

'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' is released on Blu-ray and DVD on December 2.
