They may have appealed to a more mature audience than Justin Bieber and The Wanted over in Shepherd's Bush, but Kelly Clarkson, Matt Cardle and Emma Bunton had just as much fun switching on the Christmas lights in Regent Street.
Looking smart (but hardly festive) in all-black, the stars were also joined by actors Bill Nighy and Ashley Jensen, promoting their new animated flick Arthur Christmas.
Emma was hosting coverage of the event for the radio station Heart, while Cardle and Clarkson each performed for an enthusiastic crowd.
Matt released his debut album Letters last month to first week sales of over 70,000, ranking it the fourth fastest-selling debut LP in the history of the seven X Factor winners.
Clarkson, meanwhile, is in the country promoting her new record Stronger.
