Adele is currently recovering from vocal cord microsurgery in Boston but the star still managed to scoop 'Best Pop Video' at this year's UK Music Video Awards.

The 'Someone Like You' star was awarded the award for her track 'Rolling In The Deep' where she is in a derelict home, surrounded by broken glasses and crockery.

Adele, who underwent the surgery earlier this week, was forced to cancel her US tour and remaining appearances for the rest of the year after suffering from a vocal cord haemorrhage.

The 23-year-old had the operation, which used lasers, to treat a benign polyp on her vocal cords which was causing recurrent bleeding, at Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital.

The hospital released a statement on Monday stating that Adele was expected "to make a full recovery from her laser microsurgery."

Congratulations Adele! Hope you feel better soon!
